At The Sage Dad, we believe in nourishing both body and community. We’re proud to partner with the Flemington Area Food Pantry, which serves over 1,600 families in Hunterdon County facing food insecurity.
🍞 How We Help
- Home Delivery Donations: When you receive your order in our reusable canvas bags, you’re invited to fill them with non-perishable donations for the Pantry. We’ll collect these during your next delivery.
- Sourdough Subscription Giving: Subscriptions include a donation loaf to their order. We’ll bake and deliver it directly to the Pantry on your behalf.
- Community Events: We host donation drives and collection events throughout the year, making it easy for our community to contribute.
📦 Donation Guidelines
To ensure your donations are safe and helpful:
- Accepted Items: Non-perishable food and personal care products.
- Packaging: Items must be unopened and within their “use by” or “sell by” dates.
- Health Considerations: The Pantry appreciates items low in sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats. Please avoid donating candy or soda.
- Labeling: If you’re donating items like “Birthday Bags” or “New Baby Bags,” please label them clearly with the intended age group and contents.
🕘 Donation Drop-Off Hours
Donations can be dropped off at the Pantry’s side rear door:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Selected Wednesdays Evenings & Saturday Mornings: Please check the Pantry’s schedule for specific dates.
